THE STORY

________

Kate Hoffman is the chick that plays Ellie. She is a writer, director, & actor who lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Alexandra is Lou, trying to keep it calm, keep it fresh, keep it real. She finds that tigers and whales and kittens make the world spin. And also that redwoods and soup dumplings have the power to make a person poop rainbows. An indie film lover, you can find Ms. Clayton wreaking havoc as “Renata”, the lead in Joshua Moore’s feature film I THINK IT’S RAINING (on VOD now, watch it already) and bringing some reason to George Manatos' RED RIGHT RETURN as Ruth.  She is also in post production on her directorial debuts; a surreal documentary about dreams and aging, and a narrative short (written by Clayton as well) exploring the dissociative effects of grief through the lens of a bereft widower. Fun times, people.

Samantha Slater plays the "oh so tightly wound, but we still love her," Barbara. Sam is Canadian at heart and in heritage, but she would like you to know that she loves Astoria and doesn't care who knows it. Even you.  She recently found an accidentally stolen fork in her purse.  (Sure, "accidentally.")  When off-duty from thieving cutlery, she is a writer, actor and producer.  Her comedy stylings have been seen on the big screen at The Iron Mule (NYC) and The Edmonton Short Film Festival, and on the little screen via her youtube channel: Made With Sass.  On a more "serious acting" note, this year she also made her off-broadway debut in Sheri Graubert's Tesla.  Three cheers for alternating current!
